V02 test -August 2007

V02 Test-

I am part of a study of cyclists at Lenox Hill Hospital and today had my V02 test. I have never had any test like this done, so it was interesting. I would call it fun, but the bike they had me on was uncomfortable and it is impossible to swallow when you have a tube in your mouth and your nose is plugged. My throat was so dry, it was kind of painful.

I got my numbers and don't really understand them. I do know that they were pretty good because the 2 doctors were very excited. The average woman's V02 is 35. Mine is 65. I guess I have a lot of potential and should work harder!
